Confused on setting up new Titian 2

I just bought the new Titan Two and I’m really confused about how to properly set it up on my PS5 for Apex Legends. I’ve been seeing a lot of different things online and none of them really match up, so I’m hoping someone here can explain what the actual basic setup is supposed to look like.

From what I’ve read, some people are saying you need a PS4 controller for authentication, others say you can bypass it using something else, and a few people mention that you need to use Remote Play but I don’t really want to because I’m worried about input lag. I’ve even seen some say you can connect it through a Zen or use some sort of adapter to make the PS5 controller work, but it’s all over the place and super confusing.

I have a PS5, the new Titan Two, a DualSense controller, and a MacBook Pro M3 that I can use with Gtuner IV if needed. I just want to know what I actually need to do step-by-step to get this thing working on my PS5 for Apex. Do I really need to use a PS4 controller? If so, how exactly do I connect it and where? Can the DualSense be used directly in any way without lag or weird workarounds? And if Remote Play is the only option, is there a way to make it smooth enough that I don’t feel delay when aiming or shooting?

Basically, I just want a clear answer on what’s required to make the Titan Two work properly on PS5 without all the confusing “bypass” setups. I’d rather not return it, but right now it doesn’t make much sense to keep it if I can’t even get it running the way it’s supposed to. If anyone here actually has a working setup on PS5 for Apex, please tell me exactly what you’re using and how you have it connected.
