Is it normal to not like vaping?

Recently I was with some friends, and they had a vape. Im ashamed to say I got pressured into trying it. The flavour was nice but i really didnt enjoy it as it made my throat burn, made me feel nauseous, and overall it just wasnt appealing. I was wondering if this was normal ig as alot of other teens do vape and really enjoy it.
