Any places for morning and evening walks near Kalapati junction, with facilities like Race Course?

So, the race course area is a feather in the cap for that area of the city, mainly for the safe, well illuminated walking zones separated from Vehicle traffic and also multiple rest zones and refreshments all around. We live near Lemon tree hotel at Kalapati. Do we have any such walking place near kalapati area exclusively for walking / jogging? It has to be separated from the road traffic (pedestrian footpaths as it as are nonexistent this side), paved or properly surfaced (not a dirt track or a nature trail) and mainly, it needs to be well lit at evenings to walk with a sense of security as we walk as a family.
