2019 CRV Remote start stopped working, however the rest of the fob operates normally

Hi folks,

We've got a 2019 Honda CRV EX-L and the remote start stopped working last spring. In true fashion I didn't look into it until it now as it is cold again. It's my wife's car and I'd like to have a warmed up vehicle for when she drops off the kids.

-I've swapped the fob batteries, neither fob works to start the car remotely. Both have the same functionality leading me to think it isn't a fob problem...maybe a pairing problem with the CRV

-When I hit "unlock" the lights flash, however when I hit "lock" no lights flash and they used to

-I did go into the vehicle setting and turned off remote start and turned it back on without success.
