My parents think that my nephews and nieces will grow up to be family oriented like my siblings.. But I honestly think this generation, is a bit different in that way. Any thoughts?

I don't think that my nephews and nieces will have that loyalty towards family like my siblings and parents. My siblings grew up from ages 0-16 with almost no technology in the 80s and 90s.

And my parents grew up in another country and at a time with no technology.

I have a feeling this new generation will not care about "whos there when it matters" but more about who's giving them the most joy when they are around.

I was probably the only sibling that grew up mostly with technology in my earlier years, and I am a lot more different than my older siblings. More rebellious and follows my heart.

I feel like in this time it will be a lot harder to make the teenagers and kids now to grow up to have this loyalty towards family.
