Event rewards not unlocking

I logged in today and the 'staking our claim' part of the community event is active. I donated resources during the first phase of the even so I already have some progress. The first 6 items are showing as unlocked and claimed but I do not have them in my inventory. I have double checked. I don't have the outfit, raider tokens or any of the other items it says I have claimed. Anyone know what's going on? Do you not receive the items until the end of the event?
