rant: what's with this sudden rise of "you're just jealous" clapbacks for any sort of criticism????

like yes i understand people can criticise out of jealousy but using that phrase is getting out of hand.

you'll see these articles of people doing very bad things but they might go viral because the criminal is hot or whatever and the perpetrator will even hop on the "you're just jealous" or "i love my haters" bandwagon when in reality they are just not a decent human being.
