Templates for drilling holes in body and neck?

I'm building a partscaster. The body has pre-drilled holes only for the string ferrules and strings, and for the neck. The neck has pre-drilled holes for the tuner ferrules and tuners only. I really don't want to screw this up—it's going to be a beauty, imho—So I'm wondering if there are templates I can use to drill holes for the pick guard, control plate, jack ferrule, etc. on the body, and heel, tuner screws, and string trees on the neck. If no templates are available, what's the best way to secure the various parts in place for drilling? Also, one last thing, any advice on drill bits? Here's a preliminary view of El KaBong fyi.
