About Area of Effect

Do stats have an effect on the area of effect of spells and skills? Like, does Magic Attack have an affect on how big the explosion of... say, Nuclear Blast? Does Physical Attack have an affect on the range of warrior skills with AOE? I have a feeling they don't, but I just have to confirm it.
