[Article] A new infrared scalar–tensor cosmological EFT (TCC–EFT) – looking for technical feedback

Hi everyone,

I’m an independent researcher and I’ve been working on a purely cosmological effective field theory focused on FLRW backgrounds and infrared vacuum-response terms.

The framework (TCC–EFT) is a scalar–tensor EFT with a single IR response parameter, constructed to remain strictly within the cosmological domain:

• no new degrees of freedom beyond the scalar sector,
• no modifications to local gravity,
• no astrophysical predictions,
• just FLRW dynamics + background evolution.

I’ve prepared a concise overview (v1.2) summarizing the action, field equations, parameter structure and cosmological consequences for H(z) and w(z).

I would appreciate any technical feedback or comments from the community regarding:

• consistency of the action,
• clarity of the FLRW derivation,
• EFT structure,
• and overall formulation.
