How do I separate myself from my parents mentally
Long story short: I'm 16 years old (M) and I have a huge reason to get into a fight with my parents. They yelled at me, a lot, put me into a ton of online courses as a punishment, prohibited me from attending at rehearsals of my band until New Year, and all of that just for getting a few B's in school. Me and my bandmates have an important gig before Christmas, we have been preparing for it for 3 months, and I'm not letting some two trashbags ruin all that. I have a lot of solutions for this situation planned, but if non of them works - there's final solution: telling my parents in their faces that I don't give a shit about them and their opinion, leaving the house for a rehearsal, getting into a fight with father if needed (I won't do any harm to my mom because she's not strong enough to stop me physically plus I don't want to make my brother angry at me). The only problem of that final solution is that I have lived with my parents for 16 years since birth and my body can just reject to go full out my father, resulting in me being beaten. How do I separate myself from my parents mentally, make them strangers for me not only in my thoughts, but also in my mind?
Predicting most of the comments:
1)My parents are wrong ones in this situation, not me
2)No, I won't change my mind, get calm, or see a therapist, all those won't help me to perform good in front of people
3)It's not age, it's a decision. It's given to everyone to have parents, even the bad ones, but it's not given to everyone to be a part of a good band and have such good friends, to perform, to drink tea with them in 15 minute breaks, and just to create valueable memories. So the choice between people who make me smile and two shitbags is obvious.
