Something I noticed while visiting is how big food portions are compared to Europe 😅 Is this normal everywhere or does it vary by state?

I’m visiting from Europe and thought I was ordering a basic sandwich…
Then it arrived with chips, fries, a pickle, and an automatic drink refill 😅
It felt like a full buffet disguised as lunch. I'm not complaining, I'm just jealous you guys get this luxury!!!!
