Opinions on short haired women?

For a lil context, im 20, and in university right now. Ive real short hair, call it pixie (men's haircut as indian guys like to call it). I really really like my hair at times, and hate it sometimes asw. I get casual compliments on my hair occassionally on how it suits me.

Ive been talking to this guy lately, and he seems to be interested in us dating, i really like him asw, but i js cant but let the insecurity about my hair creep in sometimes. Hes never brought it up, and seems to like it enough. Idk man.

Ive to face my fair share of mockery, aunties lamenting and unsolicited advices on how i should keep it longer.

I dont even know what the agenda of this question is, but whats the .. major perception regarding pixies in the other gender? Do yall not like it genuinely? Or is it a preference thing? Should it even matter?
