How do you raise a seed round for a fiction-based universe/IP project? Looking for guidance.

Hey everyone, I’m working on a project called Age of Primevals A fantasy fiction story that I eventually want to expand into a full universe (books, digital media, worldbuilding assets, maybe interactive content, games) etc.

I’m trying to understand whether raising a seed round is realistic for a story/IP-driven project like this. Or should I even consider the approach of having a seed round even.

If anyone here has experience with:

Funding a story universe or original IP

Raising venture or angel money for entertainment/creative projects

Pitching a narrative world as a “startup”

Alternative funding paths (publishers, grants, Patreon, crowdfunding, incubators, etc.)

…I would love your advice.
