🇪🇸An un Summer Camp USA

Staff or Prospective Staff Question

Hellooo!! My name is Zoe, I'm Spanish and I want to go in the summer to work at a camp in the United States but I'm super lost. I've been registered with an agency for about 2 weeks and I can't stop looking at camps but there are so many that I get nervous about choosing one🫠. I would like one in which there is a lot of international staff and that is well integrated, that is fun but that also leaves some free time.

I was looking at Camp Chipinaw, Tyler Hill Camp, Camp Echo, Camp Pontiac,… because they are the ones with the most information I have been able to find and they seem very cool, but I don't know. I had also looked at Camp Hillcroft which is a day camp where they host many internationals and there is much more free time to spend with the rest of the staff and visit places.

I already have a lot of experience as a monitor in camps in Spain but it would be my first camp in the USA. The truth is that I want to create friendships with the other monitors and camp workers, so apart from the activities, location,... I really value spending time among the staff, making plans and such☀️

Can anyone who has been to a camp or is watching help me? What is your experience? How much money did you bring/spend/earn?

There are a lot of questions, but I'm super undecided😅

Thanks🫶🏻🫶🏻
