Anyone actually getting useful insights from mouse tracking tools?
I’ve been messing around with mouse tracking/heatmap tools lately, and I’m honestly on the fence about how valuable the data is.
Some sessions look interesting you can see where people hover or hesitate but sometimes it feels like I’m just watching random movements that don’t really tell me anything actionable.
For anyone who’s used mouse tracking seriously: Did it actually help you improve conversions or UX? What kind of patterns should I even be looking for? And how much data do you need before it stops being noise?
Just trying to figure out if it’s worth keeping as part of my workflow or if I’m overthinking this whole thing.
