Double mastectomy complete!

Wednesday I finally had my double mastectomy with immediate diep flap reconstruction. Except when he got in my belly, he found I had great arteries on top of my fat and was able to use them instead. So instead of a diep flap, he did the siea flap. Since he didn't cut into muscle, my recovery should be a little easier. I was in surgery for a total of ten hours.

Hopefully going home from the hospital today. It's been rough but I'm so happy to have this chapter closing. Thank you all for your support!
