Best method for landscape lighting outlet?
I have hue outdoor lighting that uses the low-volt power supply which has a standard US plug. My only outlet is on the front porch with flip-up covers and I don't want to permanently have a power brick and open outlet on the front porch right next to the door.
I'd prefer to avoid installing more outlets on the brick exterior but it might be the cleanest way otherwise, though I could probably have one installed on the end of the wall tied in to an indoor outlet in the garage on the other side of the wall. I think the best thing I've seen is a permanently installed all-weather outlet on a short post next to the wall, maybe behind a bush, it could probably be a single outlet as nothing else would be supplied by it. What are other good options for permanently supplying dedicated power to the system?
