I am working on this Al project that combines a face search with creative image/video generation and I would really like it if you gave me your feedback on the concept
I've been messing around with this side project for a few months. At first, I just wanted to make a reverse image search thing. But it quickly turned into something way bigger.
Basically, I'm trying to make something that can pull a person's face from a photo and then find similar faces in pictures online that are open to the public. As I worked on it, I kept adding stuff I needed for testing, like a tool to quickly remove backgrounds, change picture styles, and make nice headshots for comparing faces.
Honestly, it's become a bit of an image Swiss Army knife: reverse lookup, face matching, plus some simple AI image generators for portraits, animations, and stuff like that.
So, the user interface is almost done, and the matching part is locating faces on my computer, but I'm really not sure what to do next.
Should I just stick to the face search idea?
Or should I try to make it an all-in-one image tool?
What do you think would be the most useful thing to focus on?
If anyone wants to give it a shot, the current version is at FaceSeek (dot) online. I'd really appreciate any feedback. If you have seen any tech issues, User Experience (UX), or even if you think it is a stupid idea please share it. Side projects are how I learn, so I'm open to any thoughts.
