Was the bug a salt lawn and garden more powerful than the 3.0 or did I just get an ebay version with a stronger spring?

Years ago I remember when I killed American cockroaches downstairs in an apartment easily and massive holes were blown in them when I used the lawn and garden.

Only thing was the lid snapped off eventually and it could not be used anymore.

With the 3.0 some insects are still alive and moving after being hit and you have to shoot a second or third time it seems as if?
