A Message From a Fellow Investigator — And Two Books That Came From Real Scenes

I’m a police investigator, and like many here, I’ve carried scenes home that never leave the mind.
After years working homicides and critical incidents, I wrote two books that came directly from the emotional side of this job — the part we rarely talk about.

They’re called The Weight of Silence and When Never to Pull the Trigger.

These aren’t crime stories.
They’re about what the job does to us on the inside — the silence, the moral pressure, and the moments where choosing restraint takes more courage than pulling the trigger.

If anyone here wants to read something written by someone who’s been there, both books are on Amazon (Kindle & Paperback).
If not, no problem — I mostly hope the stories help someone feel less alone.

Stay safe out there.
