New Members - Welcome!
Just a quick shout out to all new members here in TIC.
Just my regular "Welcome" message to all new members here of TIC (The Inner Circle).
I want to see us continue to grow organically, attracting the best (respectful, objective, interactive) individuals from Reddit or beyond. This is a different community than most others I've seen - free from the aggressive moderation that many subs employ because they are fearful of losing eyes. That ain't us, so to speak.
My goal has always been to foster and cultivate free, respective and objective thoughts and sharing of information with the good of others in mind. All thoughts, questions, analysis and information is welcome if you think it's worthwhile, objective and has group interest in mind.
You don't have to be experienced to post. Questions are just as important as is detailed analysis. Questions are how we all learn. We need those. I continue to want to coax every individual here to find a reason to post, to interact with the community so we can increase the impact of our information exchange. This community is not about me, it's about us as a collective. I've always believed that.
I started TIC on my birthday (Halloween) back in 1998 on another site, and transferred it to Reddit last August. I'm hear for the long term and I want you to be as well. But for us to extract the benefit out of this community, we need as many of you contributing as possible.
TIC is s a safe place to exist, to interact, to call your digital home. We will undoubtedly have to remove some promotional and spam posts but please don't fear rigorous moderation. In all my years of running a community like this, I've only ever had to ban a single individual, and that was back in the early 2000s. Those who find TIC find that they want to be part of something different. I hope you find the same as well.
Thanks for being here
TJ (Jeff)
