Aurora Ave Bus to/from Fremont for concert

Hi y'all,

My partner and I are visiting your beautiful city for a concert this weekend at Climate Pledge. We are planning on taking the bus along Aurora Ave to/from the concert, but we have been a little more uneasy after reading about some safety concerns along the route. I personally think going to the concert on the bus will be no big deal, but I want my partner to feel comfortable and at ease. We're not city people, so being in one, as amazing as it is, can feel a bit overwhelming!

Is this route relatively safe coming back from the concert late at night (~11), or are we better off ubering or even walking?
