AWU3 - Soft Crown Replacement

It seems like a lot of those who purchased an Ultra 3 on/around launch day received a watch with a soft/mushy crown, especially compared to older models. It was the first thing I noticed when I got mine, and I was going to return it for a different watch until I saw posts from many others noting the same thing, leading me to believe it was standard/a slight change from older models.

My question: has anyone else in the same boat had any success with a warranty claim?
