The Nor'Easter should be recoloured and kept as the main jersey
I genuinely love everything about this uniform except the colour scheme. It is so detailed, it manages to blend different eras of Pats history while still feeling cohesive, and it looks unique. Yes, all the criticism about it looking like a Colts or a Titans jersey would evaporate if it was navy, silver, and red, because its that different.
- We keep the regular silver helmets with Pat Patriot
- Navy jerseys at home, silver on the road, red throwback 3rd
- The shoulder striping is now vastly improved. It combines the BC stripes with the silver streaks of the dynasty days in a really cool way. Looks good from all angles. I would lose the funky texture for the main jerseys, we already have one funjy texture coming I'd like to keep.
- New secondary logo is great. No notes. I hate when teams just repeat the helmet logo on their shoulders. Main logo on the helmets, good shoulder stripes, good secondary logo on the sleeves.
- The numbers are immaculate. Italics, drop shadow, cropped corners, texture on front, they're so good. They're both very legible and incredibly unique, which is so hard for jersey numbers. They're the best jersey numbers weve ever worn full stop.
- 6 stars on the collar for the 6 states of New England and the 6 rings the Patriots have. Excellent touch. The one thing I might change is giving the jerseys a different coloured collar behind the stars, but otherwise I wouldnt change much.
- The pants are the only thing I'm underwhelmed by. They feel a bit like an afterthought.
I don't have the time or ability to do a mockup right now, but imagine those unis in navy with red accents making the numbers and stripes pop, or, what these jerseys should have been, a road silver with red accents making the navy pop. The Bledsoe era numbers with the Brady era shoulder stripes and a modern secondary logo. Honours the past while boldly announces the future. I really hope they do it.
