Im a prek sped teacher (just a couple weeks now)

I have a kiddo who is attention seeking.

He comes from a not a very safe home where he hears a lot of fighting and sees a lot of negative behaviors.

Right now, he’s been doing it to his classmates like spitting, hitting, and saying curse words. He’s also running in the classroom and throwing stuff in the classroom. Right now, he has a token board during arrival and departure and he also has a reflection sheet after each activity we will reflect on what he did and if he did good, he will earn a sticker and then earn a movement time. Recently, when he’s saying bad words to a friend I moved him to a completely empty room, but right now I’m scared that he’s learning. He’s getting that one on one attention inside that room.

What else do you think I should do?
