If The Running Man under-performs or flops, he won't be finished but it's a omen about him not being a sure thing because his previous hits were always either shared with someone else or a popular IP. The Running Man is being put on his shoulders.

That's actuallya double edged sword. The good news is that the critics have praised him but he's always got good reviews but he's been acting so full of himself, like he's already made it and he's a huge star that it might put off people who prefer their movie stars to be humble.

All this talk about him replacing Tom Cruise. It took Cruise nearly 16 years of lead roles for him to achieve the mega star following he now has and besides, movie stars are no longer a thing.

Powell has the talent to be the next Cruise but the era will hardly provide him that break and his arrogance and narcissism is giving more David Caruso than Cruise. Just saying!
