Is it normal to be asked "What's your personality like?"

Yesterday, during a phone screening call for a teller position at The Bank of Princeton, I was asked "What is your personality like?" I just said like "I'm comfortable working both independently and in teams, and I hope to showcase that professionalism if I am chosen", but the question overall just made me uncomfortable.
