Shamrock rovers vs Hamrun question

All - My son and I will be going to this match. We are doing a ground hopping tour in Belgium and the Netherlands and saw this match and wanted to add it. Tickets are much easier to purchase than any Conference League match in the Netherlands/Germany or France that night. I have a few questions. Can I take a backpack into the stadium? We will be arriving at the airport that day and wanted to know if we could go directly to the stadium, or did we need to go to a hotel first. The 2nd question is any hotel suggestions? Nothing fancy at all. Thanks so much!
