Anxiety...I need help.
Hi, as the title suggests, this case has been prominent for me for almost a year now. It all started way back in December of last year. To get straight to the point, I have been having a series of panic/anxiety attacks again lately. That feeling of just opening my laptop or receiving emails or notifications from my manager about why I'm not coming in to work sends a lot unpleasant things such as heart racing really fast to the point where I'm having trouble breathing or catching my breath and getting dizzy in the process.
To share a little bit of something about my backstory, I was never really or didn't expect that I would have mental health problems until after I entered my professional career. During my first two jobs, I never experienced anything remotely close as to having anysort of mental health issues until after I started pursuing what I finished in college and working for my dream company. It was during that time where I was at my lowest. I suddenly lost all motivation to work, I was not all that happy anymore with my job and it even came to the point where I was out for almost 6 months because I was just not feeling it. One of the worst cases was that I also suddenly lost interest in my hobbies that I was so passionate about. I took a lot of counselling during that period and was diagnosed with anxiety and adjustment disorders and was given meds to combat em. After that, I talked with my manager and told her that I couldn't take it anymore and decided it was time to throw in the towel and resign. Although it was a big company, the pay wasn't that good, the management was ehhh and the working hours was hard. Not to mention, the project that I was working for was toxic as well. Fast forward, here I am now with my new job and the same scenarios are happening all over again...
There's also this feeling that I am experiencing lately wherein I just want to live in a world where life was so much more easy than what it is now. Just for context, I consider myself to be a nerd/huge anime or otaku and there is this one anime where I just can't stop rewatching mainly because the characters in this anime have it easy with their lives that it makes me really jealous and I kind of use that as a form of escapism and to to cope with lifes' challenges. It also reminds me of back in the day during my high school days. I wouldn't say I had really great memories of high school because I was a subject of bullying during that period, but just having a more relaxed and easy-ish life where you don't have to worry anything about money and just adult life in general.
One of the things as well that is triggering my anxiety is the possibility of me being separated from my parents and my home. My parents mean so much to me and I love them with every fiber of my being and the home that I grew up in where I have everything that I needed like my own room filled with all the things that I've worked hard for and the thought of moving away for the sake of work, I don't know if I'm gonna be able to live without it.
I really want to get over what I am feeling right now because it's really having a negative impact in my life. I don't wanna cause anymore issues to my parents, especially because first of all, they're already seniors and I was supposed to have them sit at the back of the car and let me do the driving this time and lead the family to a more easy life, but because of what I am experiencing right now, it's really difficult.
If there are any of you here who has experiences, would it be so kind of you guys to share some advice and also recommendations for cheaper Pyschiatrists under 1K. I do have my HMO that I can use, but just for research purposes as well so that I can consider them in the future. Pyschiatrists for online consultations would be great, but face-to-face is okay too. Thank you.
