[Excerpt from an Original Xianxia] My protagonist's fragile foundation was destroyed by a Sacred Devil, only to be replaced by the 'Heavenly Samsara Wheel'.
I'm looking for feedback on a key scene in my new Xianxia novel, [Nine Heavens and Hells]. The protagonist, Zhi Xuan, accidentally destroyed his cultivation foundation (Mortal Wheel) while trying to break through. Instead of dying, a fragment of an ancient entity—the Sacred Devil Ruo Xianxue—awakens and replaces his shattered foundation with something far more powerful, yet cursed.
The Heavenly Samsara Wheel
Ruo Xianxue: "I cannot restore your false foundation, but I can give you something much better... because you care so much about the Divine Wheels of those monkeys, I will give you a Divine Wheel. But not the stupid, fragile Divine Wheel formed by Heaven."
The Ancient Devil Monument trembled. And for the first time, an object emerged from the Monument. It was pure silver liquid that pulsed with unimaginable ancient energy. The liquid gathered, forming a ring, then it spun at a dizzying speed, radiating an aura that was both sacred and ancient.
Ruo Xianxue: "This is the Yin-Yang Samsara. You think the Divine Wheel is the upper limit? The Divine Wheel is merely a flawed and inferior version of this sacred wheel! This wheel is the Heavenly Samsara Wheel, a sacred foundation that surpasses the Three Thousand Worlds!"
The silver wheel, now formed, spun and landed exactly at the center of Zhi Xuan's Sea of Consciousness.
Zhi Xuan: "Divine Wheel... Y-you made it... J-just like that?"
Any thoughts on the dialogue or the concept of a 'Heavenly Samsara Wheel' replacing a Mortal Wheel? Does this feel like a unique Progression concept? I'm hoping to show that true power comes from defying the norms of cultivation. Thanks for reading!
