[Discussion] How have people successfully regained access to their account?

I have been in communication with BSG since summer to regain access to my account. I have always used email authentication but somehow, 2FA through an authenticator app was turned on and to my recollection, I never did that.

I supplied them with as much information as I can possibly get, but due to my original purchase being in 2017, I have no ability to get a receipt, but I have submitted a redacted PayPal statement showing the purchase, as well as all communication with PayPal for that, including timestamps. This is apparently, not enough.

Just curious if anyone has gone through this insane process before and what magical touch you used to cross the finish line.
