I said it for the Children of Men pod, and I'll say it again...

The 25 for 25 has been a bust. I wanted to love it so bad, but the episodes have not been their best moments. I get that they can pick whatever they want, and I encourage that, but there are blatant director misses (particularly Chazelle and Denis that feel borderline insane. Plus, I just don't think the eps have really dug as much as I thought. I personally do not give two shits about how Leo pulled together financing for The Wolf of Wall Street, 12 years later it feels like the most minor story ever. Also, I'm not an out-an-out Dobbins hater (because I'm not a parasocial moron) but I feel like Sean is really trying to dive deep on these movies, even if he's seen them a trillion times, and Amanda is just content to say "It rocks".
