Is it crazy to spend over 100€ on samples? And they’re all a similar scent?

I feel a bit insane at the moment with vanilla scents, haven’t found one that ‘hits’ the way I want it to so i considered buying testers online. The original perfume bottles are quite expensive, so a 2ml sample can cost as much as 15€… I found a website to order from but I’d be spending almost 150€ on just testers! Is it a good idea, should I or should i not? Or do you guys have recs for shops where I could get a tester for less in the EU? Thanks!
