Position Cancelled = rejected?

I applied more than 3 months ago and it was "In process" the whole time. I got a call Wednesday asking if I was still interested in the job and said yea and he explained everything then said to wait for an email. I got this email the next day. My buddy who works there said they're still looking for more drivers so I thought I was a shoe-in.

Not sure if every application on the site is a "general hiring pool" or if they're specifically looking for that 1 person to fill the vacancy.
