How to get a drape-cut inspired MTM suit in Hong Kong (cut + construction advice needed)
I’m planning a made-to-measure suit in Hong Kong and want advice on how to properly spec and communicate the cut. I’m aiming for something inspired by the AskOkey drape cut—high-rise trousers with a partial break, turn-ups, double pleats, and a structured jacket with wide peak lapels in herringbone wool.
For those who’ve achieved this style through MTM in Hong Kong, how did you communicate the drape and shaping to the tailor? Are there specific construction details, pattern adjustments, or fitting steps I should insist on to get the drape and silhouette right?
Would appreciate insights from people who’ve managed to get this aesthetic through MTM locally.
