IGOT SCAMMED BY AN UBER DRIVER
Hey so for context I am a 17 yr old teen who booked a cab for my aunt from Noida to Gurugram as I wanted her to travel safely and comfortably the cab broke down in the middle of the trip I had no idea where exactly she was so could not book her another cab could not leave her stranded at a location with a stranger so the cab driver who I thought was kind enough suggested he would book the cab for her and pay the driver and I could just pay him for what uber charges me now that the trip is over and what the other driver costed him and I know it should have hit me that its a red flag I could pay them seperately but when you are stressed and going through panic of a single female starbded of your family whom you are responsible for in a way you do anythigg to make sure they sure and I know I am over expressing but yeah I made a mistake and I understand but anyways she sits in the other cab thanks to God she reached her home safely but the other cab driver shockingly told her he was not payed and now I had to pay him 750 and mind you when I fist booked the uber I had to pay 769 to the first driver but the trip ended no where near the location like it was near okhla or something and it charged me 428 but I still whent ahead and payed him 428 and according to the first driver 958 rupees of the second driver whom he booked for my family member and now here i am after loosing my money and the trust my aunt had on me as she was starbded at a strabge location and was aggressively asked for payment by the other driver all of it because I thought I could trust an uber driver as he was verified not a scammer but a good wake up call ig anyways had to complain about it and if any one can help or suggest me a way of getting my money back pls do and its not mine it's my dad's hard earned money he trusted me with and well that did not go well so plssss any way out will help Thank you if you read till hear
Tldr- I got scammed by an uber driver whose car broke down middle of a ride and as the ride was for my aunt all by herself I wanted her to be safe I agreed with him booking and paying for the other cab driver as I wanted her to reach her home fatt and safe well only for her to find out I got scammed as the other driver demanded his share if money as he never got payed
