Any recommendations for a hang-forged splitting axe?

Splitting wood (by hand) has become a hobby, exercise outlet, and obsession for me of late. I use a maul when necessary but use a lighter splitting axe (2.75lb Biber) when it will do the job. Now I’m looking to upgrade that tool. I bumped into the Hoffman Blacksmithing axes and I’m thinking something along those lines (hand forged, American made, from a craftsman). The Wood Bullet might fit the bill nicely but is unavailable and may be on the heavy side for what I need - and want to swing for some hours. Given the above - any recommendations?
