Starting to Run, But My Feet Are Hurting, Any Tips for Foot Care?
I’m new to running, and I’ve just started to get into it. I’ve been trying to hit the pavement a few times a week, but lately, I’ve been having some issues with my feet. At first, it wasn’t a big deal, but after a couple of runs, I started noticing that my feet were feeling sore, especially around my heels and the soles. I’m getting some rough patches, and even though I’m stretching before and after running, it’s still not going away.
I’m not sure if it’s the shoes, the weather, or just my body getting used to running, but it’s starting to make my runs feel uncomfortable. I’ve tried using regular lotion to moisturize my feet, but it doesn’t seem to help with the soreness or rough skin.
Has anyone else dealt with foot pain or rough patches when they first started running? What foot care routines or creams have you used that helped? I’m looking for anything that can make my feet feel better so I can keep running without the discomfort.
