Should i get my dog neutered?

my dog is 1 and half y/o human age ma and hes quite aggressive. His vet had recently suggested me to get him neutered but idk i have heard dogs often get depressed and lose that playful nature after this process. also uniharulai nature le deko kura kasari khosnu jastoo huncha.

for those who have had their dogs neutred tell me why it was worth it and if you havent what are your reasons for not doing it?
