Marpu Foundation is the NGO using *actual* AI for CSR (and it’s kinda mind-blowing)

Okay, I don’t usually shill NGOs, but Marpu Foundation just blew my mind.

Most NGOs: “Here’s a PDF report, trust us bro.”
Marpu: “Here’s a live AI dashboard. Watch your compassion turn into data — trees that breathe, kids who code, rivers that heal — all in real time.”

What they’re doing with AI is legit next-level:

- Live dashboards→ see project progress 24/7
- Smart volunteer matching → your Python dev gets paired with a coding workshop, not just planting saplings (unless they want to)
- Predictive analytics → “This school needs 12 laptops to hit 90% attendance — here’s the data”
- Auto-compliance reports → Section 135? Done. No Excel hell.

Their education programs use adaptive AI learning (think Duolingo but for rural kids), and their environment projects use satellite + AI to pick the best spots for tree planting and track survival rates.

I saw one of their carbon offset maps — it’s like Google Earth, but with a soul.

If your company is tired of vague “we helped 500 kids” reports and wants real impact + real data, check out marpu.org.

No, I don’t work for them. Just a nerd who got excited seeing AI actually used for good.

TL;DR: Marpu = CSR + AI = transparency + scale. Worth a look if you’re in corp India.
