Who are your favorite legit musical theatre singers? Any era.

(Note: “legit” here refers to the more classically trained style you associate with, say, Rodgers & Hammerstein shows)

A lot of times, when we discuss our favorite performers in this subreddit, a lot of singers with more pop, rock, or otherwise modern voices get mentioned — Jeremy Jordan, Aaron Tveit, Jonathan Groff, etc. These are perfectly good singers, but I have a soft spot for the legit or classical styles of singing. I’d love to have a discussion about favorites among that genre of singer.
