Market-bought chili paste - safe to take home or not?

Hi,

I bought this chili paste at a food market and was told it was vegetarian, but after translating the ingredients it seems to contain fish or shrimp. Now I’m not sure if it would be safe to eat it once I got back to Poland. I’ve been carrying it around in the heat, and it will probably be exposed to more heat as I’m backpacking through Thailand.

The container isn’t sealed and was barely closed when I got it. Do you think I should just leave it here?
