Evan Mobley isn’t a #1. Where do the Cavs go from here?

Coming into this year, there was a lot of talk of Mobley being a #1 option (over Spida Mitchell) and a MVP candidate. Cavs put all their chips on this

Couple weeks into the season, that clearly isn’t happening. Mobley isn’t a #1. His offensive game still looks awkward and he isn’t great at anything on the offensive end. I think he’s more of a Prime Ibaka/Horford than KG/AD/Giannis

So where do they go from here? They’re the highest paid team in the league, the only team in the 2nd apron and they aren’t a serious championship contender. I think they’ll ride Mitchell as far as they can in the playoffs and that is usually the 2nd round.
