Save the Date addressed only to my husband?

Married to my husband almost one year (12/24). Have not met husband’s brothers or nieces yet-they live in CA and we are in TN. We bought a home together December 2024. Two months later hubby received invitation to niece’s wedding. Did not notice it only had his name on it and assumed I was invited. Fast forward to June 2024 and we got engaged but realized invitation did not include me. He reached out to brother to ask about plus one. Brother asked his daughter and she declined because she did not know me. So we canceled our trip.

Just received save the date for niece’s twin’s wedding but it was addressed only to my husband. Would you assume I am invited since we are married or should he ask his brother again? Or just wait for invitation to arrive?
