BF (22m) is getting urges again

My Boyfriend and I had a conversation this morning and he revealed to me that last night he was up late watching anime (Burn the Witch) and he began to feel an urge to watch porn.

He’s been porn free for 6 months and he says that when he gets urges they are a lot stronger.

I don’t know anything about that anime but he said that it does have some stuff in the anime that triggers his urges. He has told me he has dropped it.

Also I know that sex shouldn’t be an deciding factor of his urges or actions but we have not had sex in a while (mostly because we only see each other on the weekend and i’ve been dealing with some health stuff)

How can I assist him or what kind of advice would you want to give him?
