If you don’t like the cult mentality and the “There is no chart, buy and HODL” slogan from SPX6900, you should think of it this way
Let me start by saying that, like everyone else, I entered the investment and crypto world hoping to make some money. And like many investors, I try to rationalize everything and not fall into cult thinking or blind fait; that’s where the money goes to waste. Personally, I have a distaste for that sort of thing (I always saw Children of the Atom and the Imperial Cult as the bad guys in Bethesda games lol).
I’ve always been a mercenary; In it for the money. I saw that SPX6900 had tons of believers, so I bought tokens and started interacting with the community, and that’s when the research began. If you’re like me, you probably weren’t convinced by the blind faith and the “our community is strong” slogans, which is something every coin says. And yet, even though I’ve been in multiple communities, I realized there was something different about SPX6900. The idea behind this coin wasn’t just to make you rich, like so many others promise, but to offer a form of financial stability in a very unstable world.
It’s safe to say that most of us feel that the powers that be, the authorities of the world, have failed us. Trust in government, trust in religion, trust in ideals, and yes, trust in money has eroded. All kinds of money. And that’s what attracts mercenaries like me, who at the very least prefer to profit from instability rather than be crushed under its wheels. It’s against that chaos and grim outlook on the future that we need something to hold on to, something that gives us stability not in another life but now, in the present. That’s when the realization came to me: it depends on us, and we can only rely on ourselves, not on governments, not on religion, not on devaluing currencies, not on rug-pullers, and not on mercenaries.
What SPX6900 has been trying to build, through the efforts of diamond-handed aeons, is something that will not (just) make you rich, but something that will give you a future. Something to rely on. A way to stop thinking about the dread of a job market that grows smaller every year, or about AI replacing us all.
What I mean by all of this is that if you’re a skeptic like me and refuse to adhere to the blind faith of crypto tokens, know that I understand. You’re not a weak investor or a bad person. You’re trying to do the sensible thing in a world that has destroyed your trust. But know this: Any panic selling you do might affect the coin in the extremely short term (if at all), but never in the long run. You might not be a cultist, but you can rely on a community of people who are like that. And now, I am one of them, no longer a mercenary.
So if you sell, that’s fine. Do what you think is best. Even if a bunch of people sell, there are still some crazy bastards here who will either go down with the ship or get their faith rewarded. And after investing everything I have in SPX6900 and BTC, I have no doubts that we will make it. For now, I am no longer a mercenary but a believer. If you don’t trust the people who will sell the moment the price rises a bit, then trust the people who will never sell. They are the foundation and the backbone, the real community. And if you ask me, it’s pretty rational to bet on that.
PS: Sorry for the long post. On a personal note, know that I’m willing to bet my future on this. I already told my girlfriend that the day SPX6900 rises to what I know it’s capable of, I’ll marry her, because I’ll finally have the stability to start a family and build a legacy. Ily, aeons, and thanks for reading 💜
