How real/safe is this?

I just came across this, and am amazed at the community. I’m in a wlw relationship and we’ve been together for the past 11 years. We would love to expand our family. We have so much love to give. We have one son through adoption, & have been trying to conceive these past 3 years but it has been SO expensive.

We attempted just last year with at home insemination and frozen sperm, which unfortunately did not take. We’ve been trying to save up recently to do at home IUI with a midwife + frozen sperm to heighten our chances but again it’s really hard when your trying to save up a few thousand, on top on of our daily expenses already.

So I guess my question is how real and safe is this? Any experiences from anyone? Concerns/medical issues that have come up? I’m soooo interested. If this is an option, it would be such a big help for us get the baby we’ve been dreaming of sooner than we thought!! 🥹
