Studio safety as a new high school ceramics teacher
Hello so I am getting concerned for my safety as a high school ceramics teacher as I work with clay all day and it is really hard to manage all the clay dust that gets everywhere. I recently got an air purifier and think that is helping but I also think that I am still exposed to a lot of clay dust and I am concerned for my own respiratory health and was wondering if anyone has any tips on how I could avoid developing any health issues in this profession? I wear a mask when I can but I need to get a better one that is well fitted and I also try to run the air purifier all the time. Any advice would be greatly appreciated thank you!
