Serenity

I walked into that room again. Someone joked that you could feel the serenity as you walked through the doorframe. I laughed, but it was true. I haven’t been home in a while, and I felt at home in that room again.

I’m not doing well. I quit my job. I lost friends. My heart is failing. My health is declining rapidly.

I wish you would’ve came.
